Vijay to release Prashanth-starrer Andhagan’s first single?

The makers of Andhagan, the upcoming Tamil film, had recently announced the release date. The film is all set to hit theatres on August 15 to capitalise the Independence Day weekend. Recently, the team had also announced that they are coming with a special surprise for the audience on July 24. If reports are to be believed, Andhagan makers are planning to unveil the first single from the film's album and it will be released by actor Vijay.

Vijay to release Andhagan first single?

Andhagan is an upcoming Tamil film starring Prashanth in the lead role. It is the remake of the critically acclaimed Hindi black comedy film Andhadhun. Recently, the makers of the upcoming film dropped an announcement that a special surprise is on the way on July 24.

Now, as per reports, it is expected that the first single will be released on the day, by none other than Vijay himself. However, an official confirmation is yet to be made. It is to be noted that both Vijay and Prashanth will be sharing the screen space with the upcoming film The GOAT- Greatest of All Time, directed by Venkat Prabhu.

Apart from Prashanth, Andhgan also stars actors Simran, Priya Anand, Karthik Muthuraman, Samuthirakani, Yogi Babu, Urvasi, KS Ravikumar, Vanitha Vijaykumar, Leela Samson, Poovaiyar, Manobala, and others. The film revolves around a blind pianist who becomes a prime eye witness of a murder committed by an affluent house wife. It is helmed by Thiagarajan.

Scheduled to release on September 5, The GOAT is touted to be a sci-fi action film and features a host of known names. Actors Prabhudheva, Sneha, Laila, Mohan, Ajmal Ameer, and others are part of the cast, with names like Sivakarthikeyan and Trisha expected to make cameo appearances.
