Vikram’s Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 is currently running in cinemas near you. The film, although faced troubles on its first day, has been picking up over the Eid weekend. Written and directed by SU Arun Kumar, it is to be noted that the film’s second part has been released first. While there are many questions left unanswered the second part, Vikram who has been visiting theatres post-release, dropped some exciting details about the forthcoming films from the Veera Dheera Sooran world.

Vikram confirms Veera Dheera Sooran part 1 and 3

The makers of Veera Dheera Sooran took a unique choice to release the second part of the film before the first hit theatres. The action thriller headlined by actor Vikram, is written and directed by SU Arun Kumar, who earlier made Chithha.

Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 primarily takes place over a night, and revolves around a stand-off between a cop and a powerful family in the village. The protagonist, Kaali (played by Vikram), who previously worked as a henchman to family’s head, is called to do the last hit job, and finish off the cop who is carrying vengeance. The film’s narrative is said in such a way that the characters seem to have previous experiences with each other, even before the film started. There is character called Dileep, who is never shown in Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2, who forms a major turning point in the film, while a character called Venkat whose fate is not known in the climax.

Vikram, who has been touring theatres post-release, confirmed that part 1 and 3 will take place. “The talent of SU Arun Kumar is that even without showing the character, he had made a film centering it. He has made us to imagine the character rather than showing the troubles of what the role would go through onscreen. When we do the first part, there will be Dileep, and the third part will have Venkat.”
