Vikram: Here's when you'll know the release date of the actioner starring Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil

Kamal Haasan, thanks to his political stint, controversies and a busy schedule with Bigg Boss Tamil, hasn't had any theatrical release post Viswaroopam 2. That's one of the many reasons why there's great anticipation for Vikram, his collaboration with Maanagaram, Master director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Vikram went on floors in August 2021 amid several lockdown restrictions and managed to wrap its shoot in a little over a 100 days recently. The film produced by Kamal Haasan and R Mahendran also features Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil in key roles.

The makers of Vikram, i.e. Raajkamal Films International, has informed earlier today that the theatrical release date of the film will be announced on March 14 at 7 am. Vikram, which has music by young sensation Anirudh Ravichander, began on a shaky note with several security protocols in place to ensure healthy working atmosphere and was backed by a solid crew that responded to the challenge effortlessly. 

Beyond the three powerhouses Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil, Vikram also features Narain, Chemban Vinod, Kalidas Jayaram and Gayathrie in pivotal roles. Kamal Haasan had quit Bigg Boss Ultimate recently to focus on the shoot of Vikram. The actioner is expected to release in the latter half of 2022. After Vikram, Kamal will wrap up his pending portions for Indian 2, directed by Shankar. Kamal and Sony Pictures have also joined hands to produce a film with Sivakarthikeyan later this year.
