L2 Empuraan Vs Veera Dheera Sooran Part 2: Vikram says his wife is bigger fan of Lalettan - 'Whatever I do, she says it is still less than Mohanlal'

Mohanlal and Vikram’s respective films L2 Empuraan and Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 are set to release on the same day, March 27. Ahead of the releases, the cast and crew of both the films have been aggressively promoting and taking a multi-city tour across the country. In one such promotional interview, Vikram revealed how his wife is an ardent fan of Mohanlal and compares him with the legendary Malayalam actor.

Vikram reveals his wife is a huge Mohanlal fan

Actor Vikram, who is currently expecting the release of Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2, was recently in Kerala promoting the film. In one of the group interviews, joined by his cast and crew, Vikram acknowledged the release of Empuraan on the same day and made a revelation about his wife being a huge fan of Mohanlal.

"It is very healthy and I hope both the films do well. I am a huge fan of Lalettan, but my wife is a bigger fan than me. Whatever I do, and even if I do something very nice, she will say it is still less than what Mohanlal does,” Vikram said.

All about Empuraan and Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2

Both Empuraan and Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 are releasing on March 27 in theatres. Empuraan, the second instalment in the Lucifer trilogy, is helmed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and stars Mohanlal in the lead role. The dubbed version of Lucifer can be streamed on OTTplay Premium at a discounted price. It features a massive star cast, including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Abhimanyu Singh, Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Jerome Flynn, Indrajith, Kaarthikeyaa Dev, Kishore Kumar G, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Fazil.

Meanwhile, Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 is directed by SU Arun Kumar, and also stars Suraj, SJ Suryah, Siddique, Dushara Vijayan and others. The film has music scored by GV Prakash Kumar. Touted to be an action drama, the makers have chosen to release the second part, with the prequel to be released later.
