Hrithik Roshan has come back at the Box Office battle after nearly three years (his last film was WAR in 2019) but he has not received as much love. While his latest release Vikram Vedha started on a low note, it failed to even pick up over the first week. Saif Ali Khan opposite him or the fact that the Tamil film is remade in Hindi did not help Vikram Vedha (Hindi)’s Box Office collection.

Vikram Vedha has seen a constant drop in business post Dussehra. According to Box Office India, the movie minted Rs. 10 crores on its opening day and went on to do slightly better over the weekends, which is a common trend. However, the numbers went down to half over the weekdays.

Here's the day-wise Box Office collection for Vikram Vedha in week one:

Friday – Rs. 10.25 crores

Saturday – Rs. 12.75 crores

Sunday – Rs. 14.50 crores

Monday – Rs. 5.50 crores

Tuesday – Rs. 5.75 crores

Wednesday – Rs. 7.25 crores

Thursday – Rs. 3 crores

Total – Rs. 59 crores

The hopes ride high from Vikram Vedha’s second Friday Box Office collections. If the collections go up or even remain the same as Thursday, then Hrithik-Saif’s film has a chance to survive at the Box Office over a week. If Vikram Vedha sees any further drop than Rs. 3 crores at the Box Office, its theatrical run might end within just over a week.

The film has currently minted close to Rs. 60 crores but if it manages to stay at the Box Office for a little longer, it can touch the much-longed-for Rs. 100 crore mark. The expectations from this film were definitely high, especially since it was the next big release since Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s Brahmastra Part One: Shiva. The Friday numbers will decide the fate of Pushkar-Gayathri’s Hindi remake of Vikram Vedha in theatres.
