After giving his wholehearted approval of Hrithik Roshan’s avatar in Vikram Vedha, R Madhavan is at it again, taking to Twitter to voice what he thinks about Saif Ali Khan’s character poster. Saif Ali Khan, who essays the role of Vikram in the film, unveiled his fierce first look today, and Madhavan could not seem to contain his excitement for the same.

Tweeting a photograph of Khan’s first look from the film, Madhavan wrote that the former looked ‘awesome’ and that he cannot wait to see the remake. He further said that it will definitely be a ‘party’ in theatres. He also added a note of encouragement seemingly directed at the character, saying ‘go get Vedha’.

Check out Madhavan’s tweet below:

For the uninitiated, the upcoming Hindi film is a remake of the 2017 Tamil film of the same name, which starred Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. It follows the story of a police officer, Vikram (Madhavan), in search of a ruthless gangster named Vedha (Sethupathi). In the Hindi remake, Khan essays the role of Vikram, while Roshan portrays Vedha. The latter’s first look was unveiled earlier in January on the occasion of the star’s birthday. In addition to Khan and Roshan, the film also features Radhika Apte and Rohit Saraf in crucial roles.

The upcoming film is directed by Pushkar–Gayathri, the filmmakers who also helmed the original version. The film will be produced under the banners of YNOT Studios, Reliance Entertainment and Plan C Studios.

Vikram Vedha will be released in theatres on September 30, 2022.
