Vikramarkudu Telugu trailer: Vijay Sethupathi-Sayyeshaa starrer to release on aha on THIS date

The Telugu trailer of Vijay Sethupathi-Sayyeshaa starrer Vikramarkudu has finally been released. The movie is slated to premiere on aha on July 9. In the trailer, Vijay is seen in the role of Junga who is the most wanted don among the influential people. Going by the trailer, the film seems to be packed with action, drama and romance in equal doses.

Vikramarkudu, which was initially released as Junga in Tamil, also stars Yogi Babu and Madonna Sebastian in pivotal roles. Yogi Babu plays the role of Junga’s BFF and partner-in-crime, in the movie. Junga was released in theatres in 2018. The satellite rights for the film were sold to Zee Tamil.

Interestingly, another movie with the same title has already been made in Telugu starring Ravi Teja as the protagonist. The film starred Anushka Shetty as the female lead.

While Vijay plays a don in this film, Ravi Teja played the role of a cop who was on a mission to eliminate all evil from the society.

Vijay Sethupathi was last seen in the movie Uppena, which starred Krithi Shetty and Vaishnav Tej in the lead roles. He played the role of zamindar Raayanam in the film which was released on Netflix.

Sayyeshaa, on the other hand, was last seen in the movie Yuvarathnaa. The film marked her acting debut in the Kannada film industry. The Puneeth Kumar starrer released on Amazon Prime Video and was loved by audiences and the critics alike.

Junga was the first time Vijay Sethupathi and Sayyeshaa shared screen space. They are yet to be seen in another film together.
