Vikrant Rona trailer: Team to show 3D footage of film at on-ground promotional events
The film will release in 3D in Kannada, Hindi, English, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu

First, they announced the date, June 23, then, well over a day later, they let us know when on that day we would be able to see the trailer of the much-awaited fantasy-action-thriller, Vikrant Rona. 5.02 pm on June 23 is when the trailer of Kiccha Sudeep’s Vikrant Rona will drop on a few Youtube channels and on the social media pages of the cast and crew and the celebrities who have been roped in to release it in specific languages.

OTTplay had earlier told you that it was rumoured that the team of Kiccha Sudeep’s film would have on-ground events for the promotions of the trailer launch of Vikrant Rona in various metro cities. While it is still not confirmed if Sudeep will be joined by any other celebrities in those cities, what we do know is that director Anup Bhandari is putting together a neat little package of footage from the film that will be shown to the select gathering at these venues.

In Bengaluru, for instance, media and a few invited guests will have exclusive access to 3D footage from the film and the trailer on June 22. While we had accessed details of a 1 minute and 53-second -long trailer on the Central Board of Film Certification site, a source from the team says that including the credits, it will clock just under 3 minutes in total.

Vikrant Rona, produced by Shalini and Manjunath Gowda for Shalini Artss and co-produced by Alankar Pandian of Invenio Films, is coming to theatres across the globe on July 28. The team, we hear, is furiously working on the post-production 3D conversion.

The film has music by Ajaneesh Loknath and cinematography by William David, both of who have worked with Anup on Rangitaranga. Anup’s brother Nirup Bhandari is a part of the cast.
