Most surprisingly, Vin Diesel has sent out an open invitation to Dwayne Johnson on his Instagram page. Yes, the actor has asked The Rock to be a part of the tenth instalment of the Fast & Furious franchise to reprise his role as Luke Hobbs. For the uninitiated, the Hollywood stars had a fallout while filming for the 2017 release The Fate of the Furious. Since then, Johnson was only a part of Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, which didn't feature Diesel.

Now, in his plea, the Bloodshot actor has asked The Rock to let bygones be bygones. Diesel shared a movie still with Johnson from the Fast & Furious franchise and started by writing, "My little brother Dwayne... the time has come. The world awaits the finale of Fast 10. As you know, my children refer to you as Uncle Dwayne in my house. There is not a holiday that goes by that they and you don’t send well wishes... but the time has come."

The XXX actor also wrote, "Legacy awaits. I told you years ago that I was going to fulfill my promise to Pablo. I swore that we would reach and manifest the best Fast in the finale that is 10! I say this out of love... but you must show up, do not leave the franchise idle you have a very important role to play."

Diesel added, "Hobbs can’t be played by no other. I hope that you rise to the occasion and fulfill your destiny."

Johnson has been a part of the F&F franchise since 2011. His first outing was Fast Five. Since then, the actor has starred in Fast & Furious 6, Furious 7, The Fate of the Furious and Hobbs & Shaw

Meanwhile, Diesel has signed two more films in the franchise, namely Fast & Furious 10 and Fast & Furious 11.
