The movie, which is touted to be a period drama, features Pranav Mohanlal and Dhyan Sreenivasan in the lead roles. In a recent interview with a leading media, Vineeth extensively spoke about Malayalam cinema’s ongoing golden phase and recent blockbusters. Interestingly, the multi-faceted talent showered praise on Aadujeevitham actor Prithviraj Sukumaran and called him the ‘torchbearer’ of the Malayalam film industry.

In a recent interview with News 24, Vineeth Sreenivasan opened up about the massive success of Aadujeevitham, and its leading man Prithviraj Sukumaran. The Varshangalkku Shesham director stated that Prithviraj is not just an actor anymore, in Malayalam cinema. Vineeth feels that the L2 Empuraan director is the true ‘torchbearer’ of contemporary Malayalam cinema, who has the potential to take the industry forward.
According to the actor-filmmaker, Prithviraj, as a person, is leading the industry so that the rest of them can follow him and reach new heights. He further added that The Goat Life actor is a true leader. Vineeth Sreenivasan’s words about Prithviraj Sukumaran have left both their fans highly excited. Now, the cine-goers who love watching Malayalam films are urging the supremely talented stars to team up soon for a project. Even though the duo teamed up for a song in Vineeth’s previous outing Hridayam, they are yet to come together for a full-fledged project.

After the massive success of Aadujeevitham, which has now crossed the Rs 100-crore mark at the box office, Prithviraj Sukumaran is now set to release his next outing Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The actor is playing the lead antagonist in the film, which stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in the lead roles. In Malayalam, he will be next seen in the upcoming comedy entertainer, Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil. Prithviraj is expected to kickstart the new schedule of his third directorial venture L2 Empuraan in Chennai, in a couple of weeks.
Vineeth Sreenivasan is set to release his next directorial Varshangalkku Shesham, on April 11, 2024. The actor-director has also played a pivotal role in the film, which is touted to be a period drama set in the backdrop of the 1970s. He will be next seen in Oru Jaathi Jaathakam, the upcoming comedy film, directed by M Mohanan. Vineeth is also rumoured to be collaborating with Mohanlal and Nivin Pauly for his next directorial venture.
