VIP actor Hrishikesh's Telugu debut Bommala Koluvu to hit theatres soon

VIP/Raghuvaran B.Tech actor Hrishikesh, who excelled in his portrayal of an innocent brother to actor Dhanush, is all set to foray in Telugu cinema as a lead with a film titled Bommala Koluvu. Priyanka Sharma and Malavika Satheeshan play the female leads in the film written and directed by Subbu Vedula. AVR Swamy is bankrolling the film under Pruthvi Creations and Kickass Storyteller. The film has wrapped its shoot, post-production formalities and is gearing up for a release on April 22.

Director Subbu Vedula said, "I had great support from my team. Praveen's (Lakkaraju) music has gone a long way in enhancing the impact of the film. I am happy to have worked with editor MR Varma and I couldn't have been happier that the producer trusted me so much for consecutive films. I am confident that the film would appeal to one and all." The producer AVR Swamy shared that the director did a fantastic job with the thriller and requested audiences to encourage the efforts of the team.

Writer, director BVS Ravi, who also graced the event, stated that he had already watched the film and said the producer had a good product in his hand. "After making a new-age film like Raahu, he has bankrolled a thriller now. The lead actors have performed well. I am also associating with the cinematographer Eeshwar for another film. He has done a fine job. Praveen Lakkaraju's music has come out well. The film releases between KGF Chapter 2 and Acharya but I'm sure it'll perform well commercially," he signed off.

Malavika thanked the director for giving her an opportunity to be a part of the film while the cinematographer Eeshwar was all praise for the lead actor's performances. Actor Srinivas, Aparna were among others who attended the event. Srinivasa Mouli has penned the lyrics for the album.
