Viraaji OTT release date: When, where to watch the Varun Sandesh thriller

Varun Sandesh is doing back-to-back films in his career and is slowly making a strong comeback. His last outing was Viraaji, which ended as a below average fare at the box office. Varun was seen in the crazy role of Andy in this film which did not make much money at the box office.

Viraaji locks its OTT platform and release date

Well, the time has come for the film's OTT release. We have learned that Aha has grabbed the digital rights to the film for a fancy price and will make it available for streaming from August 22, 2024. Aha has conveyed the same through a swanky new poster.

Adhyantha Harsha directed this film which is about a group of people getting stuck in a mental asylum. They are called there for a purpose by the character of Andy and hell breaks out loose. Though the story of the film was quite interesting, the narrative by Adhyanth could have been a lot better.

Varun Sandesh was seen in a crazy look for this thriller. He sported a colorful hairdo for this film and worked hard on his character of psycho. His performance was appreciated a lot by the critics and all those who missed the film on the big screen can stream the film on Aha.

Raghu Karumanchi, Pramodini, Balagam Jayaram, Viva Raghava, and Ravi Teja Nannimala played key roles in this film which had music by Ebby. The background score by Ebby was one of the highlights of Viraaji.

All these years, Varun Sandesh was only known for playing soft characters but in the last year or so, the young hero is trying all sorts of roles. He even played a negative role in Sundeep Kishan's Michael and won a lot of praise.

In Viraaji, he worked hard on his role and gave his best but sadly, the film did not click that much at the box office. The news is that Aha grabbed the digital rights for a very nominal price. We need to see how Viraaji will fare once it comes out on Aha.
