Viraatapalem: PC Meena Reporting OTT release date: When, where to watch Abhignya's new series

Zee5 has been churning out some of the best Telugu shows in the last few years. After the success of shows like Gaalivaana, Paruvu, and Bahishkaran, Zee5 is ready with its new series, Viraatapalem: PC Meena Reporting.

This series is from the makers of yet another hit web series, Recce. Featuring Abhignya Vuthaluru and Charan Lakkaraju in the lead roles, the series has been directed by Krishna Poluru.

The first look of the show was released today, and Abhignya is shown as a cop with an intense look. She is a very popular YouTuber and is now taking on lead roles on OTT. She will be seen as a police constable in the eight-episode series.

With haunting folklore, buried village secrets, and a bold investigation at its core, the series promises solid thrills, as per reports. The show is set in the small town of Viraatapalem and revolves around the mysterious deaths of various brides during their weddings under strange circumstances. 

This backdrop sounds intriguing, and how a lady cop handles the case forms the basic story of the series. Director Krishna Poluru last directed Recce and received decent applause.

Speaking about this new series, he says, "We’ve built a world that feels real, eerie, and emotionally grounded, where one woman dares to ask the question everyone is afraid of.”

For Abhignya, this series is a big opportunity to showcase her talent. "I am so grateful to the director Krishna for entrusting me with such a great responsibility. This is my biggest and most challenging role to date, and I hope everyone will like my performance in this chilling series," adds Abhignya.

Viraatapalem: PC Meena Reporting OTT release date
