Salman Khan set foot in Kolkata at Friday midnight after a long 13 years. The state government gave him a huge welcome this time. The actor, along with Pooja Hegde, Prabhu Deva, Sonakshi Sinha, Jacqueline Fernandez, and others, performed at a gala show on Saturday night at East Bengal Club.
Salman shared a cute photo with his niece Ayat Sharma at an event in Kolkata. Ayat was also at the event along with her father, Aayush Sharma, who also performed at the event. This video on Instagram, posted on Sunday, shows the kid wearing a pink dress and matching shoes. She dances with her uncle Salman. Salman is wearing a black tee shirt, matching pants, a maroon jacket, and black shoes. He showed different dance steps to Ayat, who copied him. The song Tu Jo Mila Main Ho Gaya Fir from the film Bajrangi Bhaijan is playing in the background. The video went viral in the net world.
Salman wrote in the caption, “Following the footsteps of Maamu,” with the hashtag Dabangg Kolkata Reloading. Manyata Dutta reacted to the post by writing 'Mashallah. Adorable.' Tanuj Birwani wrote 'It made my day'. One fan wrote 'If she follows her uncle, she will also be a big star like him'.
Ayat is the daughter of Salman's sister Arpita Khan Sharma, and Ayush Sharma, who got married on November 18, 2014. They also have a son, Aahil.
Salman Khan rocked the stage of the East Bengal Club, along with Jacqueline Fernandes, Puja Hegde, Sonakshi Sinha, and others. He was felicitated by the club with a lifetime membership.
Bollywood's Bhaijan also went to Kalighat at around 4 pm. His black Fortuner car stopped at Harish Chatterjee Street, where CM Mamata Banerjee was waiting for him. She welcomed the actor with a stole. Salman stayed at her place for half an hour. Mamata welcomed him with fish fry and desserts. She gifted him a set of kurta-pajamas and her paintings.
