Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma celebrate RCB victory with ’post match drinks’

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batsman Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma had a "post-match drink sesh" to celebrate their team's triumph after Kohli's game-winning performance on Saturday night against the Delhi Capitals (DC). The star couple are known for giving fitness goals to the fans. The only beverage for the evening was a glass of sparkling water. 

Anushka inadvertently put the words "We party hard(ly)" on a photo that she shared on Instagram. At M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Kohli scored a heroic fifty off just 34 deliveries to enable RCB set up a victory over the hapless Delhi Capitals (DC). Anushka watched the match in person and supported her husband's team with every run and wicket from the stands. 

This small celebration followed Royal Challengers Bangalore's victory over Delhi Capitals in yesterday's match. While Virat put on a fantastic effort, the squad still won despite the wickets falling later somewhat more quickly than one might have anticipated.

Virat had said at the post match presentation yesterday, "I was quite disappointed that I got out to a full toss. I have been playing really well. I wanted to make sure that after fifty, I was targeting 30-35 runs off the next 10 balls. That’s how I play. That would have helped us get past 200."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Anushka will be next seen in the movie Chakda Xpress, where she will play the legendary Indian fast bowler Jhulan Goswami. The movie's release date is still awaited. For the first time in her career, the actor will play a cricket player. Karnesh Ssharma, the brother of Anushka, is producing Chakda Xpress through his in-house production business Clean Slate Filmz.
