Virat Kohli creates history! Jr NTR, Samantha, SS Rajamouli & others hail the King

Virat Kohli has yet again brought the whole nation to its feet with his virtuosity. Rising up to the big occasion of an ODI World Cup semifinal, the Indian talisman scored his 50th century against New Zealand to not only go past Sachin Tendulkar's once-insurmountable record but also take his team's score to a mighty 397. And fittingly, the entire cricketing community is singing high praise for someone who is arguably the greatest ODI or white-ball batsman in the history of the game. 

Joining in on the celebrations is the battalion of South superstars with the likes of Jr NTR, S. S Rajamouli, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and others raving about just how exceptional Virat Kohli has been over the last decade-and-a-half.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, on the other hand, chose to let the alluring picture of Kohli celebrating his 50th century do all the talking. The Kushi actress took to Instagram to share the said image in her stories.

S.S. Rajamouli, another avid cricket fan, wrote in his post that while records are meant to be breached, one could never imagine a player going past Sachin Tendulkar's record. "And the KING emerged. 🔥🔥" wrote the master director who himself has taken India to the global stage with his work.

Rana Naidu actor Daggubati Venkatesh's love for the game needs no introduction and the actor was among those few lucky ones who got the opportunity to watch Virat Kohli reach the pinnacle live from the stands. 

"It's incredible to have been able to witness so much history being created at Wankhede today. @imVKohli, take a bow!" said the senior actor in his post on X.
