On February 22, Indian batsman Virat Kohli and his wife actress Anushka Sharma announced the arrival of their second child, a baby boy. As per a statement shared by the couple on Instagram, the baby boy was born on February 15, 2024. The couple disclosed the name of their newborn as well. The name is Akaay. Ever since this announcement, the fans of the couple have been eager to catch a glimpse of the celebrities. And this morning, Virat was spotted at the Mumbai airport.
Virat Kohli is back in India
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma welcomed Akaay in London. Ever since the birth of their second child, it was uncertain whether Virat would be participating in the forthcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). However, these rumours can be put to rest as the legendary batsman has been clicked at the airport.
Upon his exit from the airport premises, Virat was greeted by the paparazzi on becoming a father for the second time. Virat and Anushka’s first child, Vamika, was born on January 11, 2021.
“Badhaai ho, sir!” said the paps with a broad smile.
Virat smiled and replied, “Thank you.”
Speaking from the fashion lens, Virat chose to keep it cool – just like his inspiration MS Dhoni. Virat donned a black t-shirt with white pyjamas. He wore spectacles with a cap to add charm to his look. Virat is the most followed Asian on Instagram with over 266 million followers.
Also, it is believed that Anushka and the two little kids are in London currently spending quality family time with each other. As Anushka recently gave birth to a baby, it is uncertain when she will be back to India.
Virat Kohli – The RCB loyalist
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will face off against their rivals, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL 2023 opener on March 22 with no injuries or player unavailability issues. RCB will field their strongest team, including Virat Kohli, who is expected to open the batting alongside captain Faf du Plessis. Kohli, who scored 639 runs with two centuries in IPL 2023, will be key for RCB. The middle order will feature Cameron Green, Rajat Patidar, and Glenn Maxwell, with Dinesh Karthik as the wicketkeeper.
