The makers of the hit Netflix show Virgin River have piqued the interest of the viewers as they are dropping major hints for the highly anticipated drama series. Recently, Virgin River 5 Part 2 premiered on the streaming giant and fans are now eager to know about the subsequent series. Here’s everything we know so far, catch on!

Virgin River Season 6

Christmas special episodes of the romantic series Virgin River 5, Part II released on November 30 on Netflix and fans are already curious about when is the next season unfolding its narrative.

Based on the novels by Robyn Carr, Virgin River debuted on the popular streaming platform in 2019, and since then loyally presented consecutive seasons with intriguing storylines and characters.

Virgin 6 Cast and Episodes

According to reports, the sixth season was confirmed long back in May even before the official premiere of Season 5. While the upcoming season will be two episodes shorter than the previous five and fourth installments each with 12 episodes.

It is also anticipated that the sixth season will follow up with the sixth book series, namely Temptation Ridge, although it is yet to be seen how much is being adapted and how much is skipped.

The ensemble cast is yet to be announced officially. However, fans can expect the prevailing cast is expected to reprise their roles.

Tentative release date

The onset of the SAG-AFRA strike derailed the original plans for summer filming in 2023. However, on the brighter side, the series will likely commence shoot in early 2024 after the settlement of the dispute. Hence, it is up to the destiny now if the 2024 ending will become greater with the series or if it will shift to 2025.
