Virupaksha box office: Occupancy grows big time after Akhil's Agent fails to take off

Agent is a film that Akhil had pinned a lot of hopes on. He spent two and half years on this film which was directed by Surender Reddy. Well, the film released this Friday and has taken a very disastrous start at the box office. The first weekend collections are going to be below par as per the trade update.

Well, as the film is having a tragic word of mouth, it has given Sai Dharam Tej's film, Virupaksha a new lease of life at the box office. The film was doing quite well at the ticketing windows but the flop talk of Agent has seen growth in occupancy for Virupaksha automatically.

Virupaksha has already touched the 70 crores gross and will release in Tamil, Hindi, Kannadaand Malayalam soon. Karthik Varma Dandu had directed this film which had Samyuktha Menon in a key role. Sai Tej made a comeback after a long time with this film and he delivered what was expected.

On the other hand, Agent has fallen like a pack of cards at the box office. The Akkineni fans are blaming director Sureder Reddy for wasting the hard work of Akhil with Agent. Anil Sunkara has produced this film and he will lose big money with Agent. For now, this lull of Agent has given Virupaksha more money at the box office.
