Vishnu Vishal, who is awaiting the Pongal release of Lal Salaam, has already signed his next exciting project with director Gokul who had previously helmed several popular films including Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara and Kaashmora. The film, which is tentatively titled ‘Production No. 10’, is set to be an action-packed, high-scale project based on true events.
The actor took it to his social media handles to share the latest collaboration with a caption “Extremely happy to share the official announcement of my next - joining hands with @DirectorGokul for a BADASS entertainer. Got really excited on hearing this wacky, high octane action script based on a true story. Can't wait to get started soon.” (sic)
The mass-action entertainer film will mark the maiden collaboration between the actor and the director. The Ratchasan actor shared pictures with the director and the makers of the film, which will be produced under the actor’s home banner Vishnu Vishal Studioz.
Interestingly, Vishnu Vishal and Rajinikanth-starrer Lal Salaam and director Gokul’s upcoming film Singapore Saloon are set for January releases.

Helmed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth and headlined by Vishnu Vishal, Lal Salaam is all set to make a grand Pongal entry at your theatres on January 12. Superstar Rajnikanth will be seen in an extended cameo appearance in this film. Touted to be a sports action drama, the movie revolves around Test cricket. Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth are playing the lead roles in the film, which features Vignesh, Livingston, Senthil, Jeevitha, KS Ravikumar, Thambi Ramaiah, Nirosha, Vivek Prasanna, Dhanya Balakrishna, and others in supporting roles. Celebrated cricketer and former captain of Indian cricket team Kapil Dev is also making a special cameo appearance in the film.
Meanwhile, director Gokul’s sixth directorial Singapore Saloon, starring R J Baalaji, Lal, and Nasser, revolves around the Tamil community occupied in Singapore. When the central character opens a salon business, everything changes. The movie is set to hit the cinemas on January 25.
