Vishwak Sen announces two new projects on his birthday, here's all you need to know

In his very first film, Vellipomake, actor Vishwak Sen showcased a little-known subtle side to him as a performer that left everyone wondering about the new, promising kid on the block. It took films like Falaknuma Das, Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi for audiences to be introduced to the massy side to him and he has picked up several interesting projects like Hit, Paagal later too. He also turned a director with Falaknuma Das and is set to wield the megaphone again for Das Ka Dhamki, whose shoot commenced recently.

At his birthday celebrations yesterday, in the presence of his fans and media, Vishwak Sen announced two new projects - the sequel to Falaknuma Das titled Falaknuma Das 2 and Student. While Falaknuma Das 2 is a hard-core action drama set in a Hyderabadi backdrop, like its predecessor, Student appears to be a college drama. For the uninitiated, Falaknuma Das was the Telugu remake of Angamaly Diaries and it'll be interesting to see how the actor, director gives his own spin to the story in the sequel. 

The cast, crew for both the films will be announced shortly. It's likely that Vishwak Sen himself will direct Falaknuma Das 2 as well. Apart from these projects, Vishwak will next be seen in cinematographer Vidyasagar Chinta's directorial debut Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam, a light-hearted rural comedy, which hits theatres in April. He has another rom-com Ori Devuda, the official remake of the Tamil hit Oh My Kadavule besides Mukhachitram, where he's making a special appearance.

Ori Devuda and Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam have looked promising, from whatever promos we got to witness, and the actor has a wide variety of films in his kitty for the coming year. One can't wait to see how these stories shape up on the screen.
