Vishwak Sen, Nivetha Pethuraj and director Naressh Kuppili reunite for Das Ka Dhumki after Paagal

It's reunion time for actors Vishwak Sen, Nivetha Pethuraj and director Naressh Kuppili. The team that collaborated for the romance drama Paagal in the past are joining hands for a new film, Das Ka Dhumki, to be formally launched today. Prasanna Kumar Bezawada, who also worked on Paagal, has scripted the thriller bankrolled by Karate Raju under Vanmaye Creations in collaboration with Vishwaksen Cinemas.

The makers say that the film will offer loads of entertainment with an interesting blend of action, good music and aesthetic visuals, catering to the tastes of the youth and family audiences. Touted to be a comedy thriller with an intriguing premise, the title poster shared by the team has a series of playing cards and a caricature of a waiter, presented as a joker.

Das Ka Dhumki will be launched later today at Ramanaidu Studios, Hyderabad. The principal shoot of the entertainer is set to begin on March 14 and the film is expected to be shot at a quick pace. "The whole team is very clear about what to shoot and very confident about the content," reads the media statement from the team. Dinesh K Babu cranks the camera for the while with Leon James on board as the music director.

Anwar Ali is the editor and A Ramanjaneyulu handles art direction for the same. Vishwak Sen's next release is Ashokavanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam, marking the directorial debut of cinematographer Vidyasagar Chintha. Rukhsar Dhillon is cast as the female lead in the romantic comedy. The film is more or less ready for release and the makers may announce a date shortly.
