Vishwak Sen, who has made a mark as an actor, director and a producer is turning a new leaf with his OTT debut through a reality show Family Dhamaka. He is the host of the popular show produced by Fremantle India for the streamer aha. The first episode of the much-waited reality show began streaming this Friday. During the show, the actor-director shared his intention behind hosting the show.

“What happened to Vishwak Sen? He was directing, acting, (of course I’ve not sung yet) and comfortable in his own space. You may think if hosting a show is necessary for me in this phase of my career, when the going is smooth. It has been five years and you’ve given me a lot of love for my directorial/production efforts Falaknuma Das, Das Ka Dhamki and other films I’ve acted in,” he said.

When you’ve given me so much love, I wanted to come to your homes and thank you all, Vishwak added. “I wanted to become your family member. I hope this goes well. I feel aha is the perfect platform for this.” Family Dhamaka celebrates family bonds, wit, and unbridled fun. Each episode of the family game show will stream on aha every Friday at 8 pm.

For the unversed, Family Dhamaka is an adaptation of one of the longest running game shows worldwide, Family Feud, which has been successfully adapted in 63 territories. The show celebrates everything about families - the dynamics, the banter, the fun, the sentiment - where the host also asks a set of questions in a format that all family crowds, regardless of their age group, can enjoy.

On the other front, aha is also airing two episodes of the entrepreneurial show Nenu Super Woman every weekend. Some of their latest film releases include Rahasya, Baby, Love You Ram, Samajavaragamana and Hidimbha.
