Vishwak Sen’s next, VS11, with DJ Tillu, Sir makers announced; noted Tamil composer on board

Vishwak Sen, whose Das Ka Dhamki has enjoyed a good opening weekend across the globe, is busy with multiple projects. While VS10, his project with a newcomer Ravi Teja Mullapudi, produced by Ram Talluri, was launched a few days ago, another biggie of the ‘Mass Ka Das’ was announced today. VS11 will be written and directed by Krishna Chaitanya.

S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, the names behind hits like Sir/Vaathi and DJ Tillu are bankrolling the mass entertainer presented by Srikara Studios. Confirming the news, the team also unveiled a motion poster, offering a peek into the film’s world, commemorating Vishwak Sen’s birthday today. Noted Tamil composer Yuvan Shankar Raja is coming on board for the music score.

The motion poster has a Yuvan stamp all over it, with the dark, edgy score, hinting at an intense action film. The glimpse begins with a series of lorries and later the focus shifts to a river, where a boat is carrying a radio set. Introducing the film in the same, the makers say, ‘In a world that defies social norms, there is no black and white, only grey. Mass Ka Das turns Bad,’ besides wishing Vishwak on his birthday.

Is the radio set an indication of a period film in the making? Vishwak Sen played a negative role with elan in his latest release Das Ka Dhamki and this project too hints at a role with several shades of grey. VS11’s shoot will begin shortly. It is believed that the project was to star Sharwanand initially and be backed by People Media Factory, though it changed hands later.

Venkat Upputuri and Gopi Chand Innamuri are the co-producers. Vishwak Sen is also awaiting the release of his long-delayed experimental drama Gaami in 2023. He also has plans to make Falaknuma Das 2 and Das Ka Dhamki 2 in the coming years.
