Chiranjeevi is busy with multiple films, and one of them is Vishwambhara, being directed by Vasistha, the director who last made the superhit film Bimbisara. Well, Vishwambhara was supposed to hit the screens on January 10, 2025, but due to the delay in post-production, the film was postponed.
Vishwambhara is back in the news
In a new development, news has come out that the makers have finally locked the teaser date, and it will be revealed on August 22, 2025, which also marks the 70th birthday of Mega Star Chiranjeevi. A massive event is being planned to release the teaser, which will showcase the film in a completely new look.
Going back in time, a small pre-teaser was released a year back, which was trolled brutally by the netizens. The graphics showcased and the world created were trolled big time by the audience. Considering the response, Chiranjeevi asked the makers to chuck the VFX and roped in a new company to handle the entire graphics part.
The makers are quite satisfied with the new product, and that is the reason they are all set to reveal the teaser on Chiranjeevi’s birthday. The special aspect is that a new release date has also been locked, which will be announced along with the teaser.
Mouni Roy shoots for a special song in Vishwambhara
Recently, Hindi heroine Mouni Roy shot for a special song in the film alongside Chiranjeevi. Touted to be a fantasy drama, Vishwambhara has music by M.M. Keeravani, and Trisha Krishnan plays the female lead. This is the third time she has teamed up with Chiranjeevi in Telugu.
Vasistha is known for his fantasy drama Bimbisara, which was a big hit, and that is the reason Chiranjeevi gave such a young director the big responsibility to direct this biggie. But since he could not manage the VFX part, everything had to be redone. Now, things are getting back into shape, and the first in line will be the teaser.
