Viswam - Sreenu Vaitla springs a surprise, teaser of the Gopichand starrer receives solid response

Director Sreenu Vaitla was once a star director and made blockbusters like Dokudu with Mahesh Babu. He was the king of comedy, and many of his films have repeat value even today for those cult comedy scenes. But a string of bad films pinned him back in his career, and Sreenu Vaitla was nowhere to be seen in Telugu cinema.

He is now making a comeback to Tollywood with a Gopichand film. We at OTTplay have already revealed that the film ran into problems as the producers walked out. Now, things are back on track, and the makers, Venu Dondepudi of Chitralayam Studios and TG Vishwaprasad of People Media Factory, have named the film Vishwam.

They also released the first look teaser of the film on the occasion of Eid. Not many had expectations on this film but Sreenu Vaitla and Gopichand have sprung a surprise as the teaser has been liked by many and has become a talking point all over.

Gopichand, in an action-packed avatar, arrives at a wedding, kills everyone, and eats their food. The way this episode has been shot and executed in the teaser looks quite interesting. The special aspect is that Gopichand looks stylish in this teaser, and his new avatar has been liked by many.

One can say that Sreenu Vaitla has impressed in his comeback film, at least with the promo. The news is also that the film has loads of comedy and will narrated in typical Sree Baitla style. Chaitan Bharadwaj composes the music for this film which has camerawork by KV Guhan.

Gopi Mohan has written the screenplay and as he too has teamed up with Sreenu Vaitle after a long gap, things are looking fresh. The shooting of the film is halfway through, and very soon, the release date will be announced. Watch this space for more updates on this project.
