Actor Vivek Oberoi recently admitted that at one time in his career, he suffered from depression and was surrounded by dismal and pessimistic thoughts. He claimed that his family had supported him and that his wife, Priyanka Alva, had also been supportive. He claimed that he had a connection to Sushant Singh Rajput's death, who was discovered dead in his flat.
Sushant Singh Rajput successfully transitioned from the television to the film industry before committing suicide. He was found dead at his Bandra residence in June 2020.
Vivek Oberoi stated in a recent interview that he felt the agony since the business can be harsh. This place can be vicious, ruthless, attempting to crush you, he said to Bollywood Bubble. He claimed that the support of his family and followers was what helped him.
Vivek said that he wanted to put an even darker spin on things. Which is why, regrettably, he could identify to what occurred to Sushant or to other people. He experienced the anguish and darkness. "This place can be pretty cruel. They can be brutal with trying to crush you and when lies are spoken so many times, so loudly and so many, they become the truth. They force you to start believing that’s the truth about you but in hindsight with a lot of calmness, strength, and inner happiness, you realise that your truth is your truth and no one can take that away from you but you,” he shared.
Vivek was last seen in the Dharavi Bank of MX Player. The crime web series, which was directed by Samit Kakkad, also starred Suniel Shetty and Sonali Kulkarni. Alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Shilpa Shetty, the actor will next be seen in Rohit Shetty's OTT debut, Indian Police Force, as IGP Rathore.
