VJ Sunny signs a new film after digital debut with ZEE5’s ATM

VJ Sunny, who shot to fame with his appearance in Bigg Boss Telugu (and going on to win the title), forayed into the OTT space with the crime thriller ATM, produced under Dil Raju Productions and created by Harish Shankar for ZEE5. The series, which premiered in January, was widely viewed by streaming enthusiasts across Telugu states. The actor has now signed a new project.

His next is with a new production house, Full Moon Media Productions. The project, which went on floors on Friday, will be written and directed by Sanjay. Noted filmmaker V Jayashankarr, popular for his films like Paperboy and Vitamin She, will be the directorial supervisor for the project. Sivannarayana, Sailaja Priya, Saptagiri and Rekha play important roles in the film.

The makers say Sanjay has come up with an intriguing plot for the untitled project. The banner, which enters the industry, hopes to make a mark with entertaining stories and pave the way for pathbreaking cinema executed with conviction and good taste. Full Moon Media Production is confident that it’ll start its innings on a positive note with the aforementioned project.

The film’s shoot officially commenced on Friday as well and the team aims to wrap up the shoot in a single schedule. Srinivas Reddy cranks the camera for the project to be edited by Karthika Srinivas. Madeen scores the music and Rajeev Nair is the art director. Ravi Polishetty bankrolls the film and Chinna, Santosh Krishna are the co-directors respectively.

The unit has teamed up with Hunt4Mint, a talent-scouting platform known for roping in big names for the project and also to introduce many exciting talents to the industry.
