Voot Select Film Festival: A list of all the movies releasing on the OTT platform

The Voot Select Film Festival will stream from July 24.

The OTT platform Voot is all set to come out with its own film festival. Named Voot Film Festival, this movie fest will include films featuring noted actors like Vidya Balan, Neena Gupta, Amit Sial, Chunky Pandey and Esha Deol.

In an attempt to bring forth stories by various filmmakers, Voot has finalized 15 critically acclaimed films for the festival. These movies will be streamed over a period of eight days.

The movies which would be streamed during the film festival are - Guddu, Adi Sonal, Natkhat, Lihaaf, Jaan Jigar, Bhaskar Calling, The Shaila(S), Tap Tap, Shuruaat Ka Twist, Tea and a Rose, Gutthi, Lines, Ek Duaa, Khauff, Dinner in Lockdown, A Short Hello and Love In The Times Of Corona.

Vidya’s short film Natkhat would open the film festival. Neena Gupta’s anthology film Shuruaat Ka Twist is also expected to make some noise upon its release. The movie also stars Chunky Pandey and Amit Sial. It will start streaming on July 25.

Hina Khan’s Lines, Tannishtha Chatterjee’s Lihaaf and Esha Deol’s Ek Duaa have also often been in the news for some reason or the other. The audiences will be able to watch all these on a single platform.

The movies, which are streaming from various languages, are recognized in their own way. A few of these works are also helmed by filmmakers mentored by Rajkumar Hirani, Amit V.Masurkar, Vikramaditya Motwane and Raj Kumar Gupta.

The theme of the festival is #IndiaUnfiltered. Thus, it would portray subjects varying from LGBTQ+ relationships to domestic abuse.

The films will start streaming from July 24 and will continue till the first week of August.
