After two popular shows - Harish Shankar’s ATM and Kona Venkat’s Puli Meka - ZEE5 is coming up with a nail-biting legal drama titled Vyavastha. Director, producer Anand Ranga has created and helmed the show headlined by Karthik Rathnam, Hebah Patel and Sampath Raj. The legal drama will be out on the streaming platform the coming weekend on April 28.

Ahead of the show’s release, the trailer was launched by DJ Tillu star Siddhu Jonnalagadda today. The show revolves around the fight between a young law graduate Vamsi Krishna and his senior Chakraborty, who makes use of several loopholes to monopolise the legal system. When a young woman asks Vamsi to fight for her, he needs to overcome the challenges within the system and the roadblocks created by his senior.

Will the underdog lawyer stand tall, ensure justice to his client and fight the monopoly of Chakraborty? The trailer promises a high-stakes drama that’ll keep viewers on the edge of their seats. While Karthik is cast as Vamsi, Sampath Raj plays Chakraborty. Kamna Jethmalani is cast as the latter’s wife and Hebah Patel essays the role of a woman that Vamsi fights for.

The quirks to Vamsi’s character - like the stammering and his low self esteem - provide an interesting dimension to the courtroom arguments. Sukrutha Wagle, Shivani, Sujith Kumar Reddy, Raja Ashok and Gururaj also play crucial parts in the show. Produced by Pattabhi Chilukuri, the drama has cinematography by Anil Bhandari.

Anand Ranga, who directed Siddharth starrer Oy earlier, also made a web show for ZEE5 titled Shootout At Alair. The show’s lead actor Karthik Rathnam was cast in a significant role in the platform’s hit action saga Gods of Dharmapuri too. With a flurry of releases across various genres scheduled on many OTT platforms the next weekend, it’s certainly going to be a feast for Telugu viewers.
