With barely a month to go for Sankranti, Telugu film buffs are all pumped up to witness an epic clash between two veteran stars - Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi - at the box office. While Balakrishna's Veera Simha Reddy releases on January 12, 2023, Chiranjeevi's Waltair Veerayya will hit screens a day later. Interestingly, both films are produced by the same banner - Mythri Movie Makers. Earlier today, a new poster of Waltair Veerayya was unveiled by the makers.
In the new poster, Chiranjeevi in a complete mass avatar, sporting black shades, is handcuffed in a police station, while being surrounded by a series of guns. Ravi Teja, Catherine Tresa, Bobby Simha essay other important roles in the film that reminds audiences of Chiranjeevi's 90s avatars in Gharana Mogudu, Mutha Mestri, to name a few.
The first song from Waltair Veerayya, Boss Party, is a hit with music buffs and has amassed over 25 million views on Youtube. Earlier this week, the makers released a video where Devi Sri Prasad had given a glimpse of the song to the team including Chiranjeevi, Bobby, the producers and director Sukumar.
