Waltair Veerayya streaming on Netflix: here's how much it made at the theaters

Waltair Veeryya is Chiranjeevi's latest outing which has shocked even the trade pundits in Telugu states. The manner in which the film raked in crores of money once again proved that Chiranjeevi is indeed the king of the box office when it comes to Telugu films. Well, the film is now streaming on Netflix and has already clocked millions of streaming minutes.

Well, as the film is out on OTT, let's look at the closing collections of the film. The film has crossed fifty days run of its theatrical run and has made a whopping 133 crores share worldwide to date which is huge. With this figure, Waltair Veerayya now stands sixth in the list of top ten Telugu films of all time. Bobby directed this film which was produced by Mythri Movie Makers.

A major of the share came from the Vizag region where the film's story was set. Chiranjeevi was seen in a mass avatar after a long time and the makers made handsome money with the Netflix deal as well. The producers landed massive profits with this film's theatrical rights which were produced on a budget of over 80 crores. DSP scored the music.

Waltair Veerayya was released alongside Balakrishna's Veera Simha Reddy during the lucrative Sankranthi season this year. The film had to breach the 90 crore mark to be in the safe zone but the Balakrishna biggie did not hinder the run of the Chiranjeevi starrer which broke even in just 10 days of its release which is a record in itself.
