Chiranjeevi has consistently talked of his excitement to do a film with one of his fan-boys so that audiences get exactly what they expect from him on the big screen. It looks like Power, Venky Mama director Bobby Kolli has managed to do that with Waltair Veerayya, going by the trailer alone, that was released some time ago earlier today. After films like Sye Raa, Acharya and Godfather, Waltair Veerayya presents Chiranjeevi in a vintage avatar with his swag, terrific comedy timing and coastal Andhra slang.

Social media was abuzz with excitement after the trailer launch, with fans celebrating Chiranjeevi’s avatar like never before in the recent past. Right from the star’s body language to his dialogue delivery to his on-screen swag and Devi Sri Prasad’s background score, appreciation has been pouring in for Waltair Veerayya from several corners this evening. Some fans are even confident that Waltair Veerayya will be the first choice of family audiences Sankranthi.

Many fans have credited director Bobby Kolli for showcasing Chiranjeevi the way they wanted him to see and it looks like the efforts of the team are finally paying off. There are a handful of mass moments laced with humour, drama and emotion in the trailer and the viewers’ excitement doubled owing to the presence of an effortlessly stylish Ravi Teja, who’s seen as a cop in the film. The visually appealing cinematography, the stylish edits were the icing on the cake.

Shruti Haasan plays the female lead in Waltair Veerayya that also stars Catherine Tresa, Rajendra Prasad, Nasser,Bobby Simha, Prakash Raj, Srinivas Reddy, Sapthagiri, Shakalaka Shankar and others in key roles. The film is releasing worldwide on January 13.
