Following on the runaway success of Vikramaditya Motwane’s Jubilee, Wamiqa Gabbi to now star in Atlee and Murad Khetani’s next with Varun Dhawan

After having created a mark for himself with path breaking films like ‘Udaan’, ‘Lootera’, ‘Trapped’, ‘AK vs AK’, Vikramaditya Motwane created yet another masterpiece in the form of ‘Jubilee’, which was one of the most talked about films of the recent times. Speaking of ‘Jubilee’, besides the gripping storyline, even the immaculate starcast also became the talking point. One such actor who stood out in ‘Jubilee’ with her arresting screen presence was Wamiqa Gabbi.
Speaking of Wamiqa Gabbi, here is the latest professional update for all her fans. The latest update is definitely nothing less than the best news that her fans can hear today. And the good news is that, Wamiqa Gabbi has now been signed in for Atlee's highly-anticipated next Hindi production. She will be seen as the leading lady opposite Varun Dhawan.
Wamiqa Gabbi, while expressing her excitement about the project, said in a media statement, "I am thrilled and grateful to be a part of this project. The opportunity to work alongside Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh is is definitely something I’m looking forward to. I have been looking and waiting to do a full commercial Hindi project and this is just it. And I’m really excited to be working and collaborating with Murad sir and Atlee”. The so-far untitled film, which has been referred to as #VD18 till now, is being slated for release on 31st May 2024.
Besides being a part of #VD18, Wamiqa is busy shooting for next project in Budapest. She is also an integral part of Vishal Bhardwaj’s maiden OTT series - Charlie Chopra and The Mystery Of Solang Valley. Besides these, Wamiqa will also be seen in the Netflix project titled ‘Khufiya’, in which Tabu will be seen as her co-star. If the buzz to be believed, then, Wamiqa Gabbi is in ‘advance talks’ with a leading production company for a big project. The details of the same have still been kept under the wraps.
