Aditya Chopra and Ayan Mukerji are raising the stakes with the high-octane action set pieces for the climax of War 2.

Action movie lovers get their money's worth at the climax, and because of this, Ayan Mukerji has saved the most impressive part for last during filming of War 2. The filmmaker recently wrapped filming multiple action scenes starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr., NTR (who portrays the adversary), and others in various locations, including an aeroplane and a Japanese monastery. As per Mid Day, the two stars will reportedly spend 15 days in Mumbai filming the climax, which begins in the middle of December.
Mumbai shoot schedule for the climax
According to the latest reports, the story allegedly starts in a hangar and then moves to the villain's lair. From the second week of December onward, Jr. NTR and Hrithik will film their final showdown at Film City in Goregaon and YRF Studios in Andheri, according to a source. Film City is constructing a massive set that depicts Jr. NTR's lair, while YRF Studios will concentrate on close-ups and shots heavily embellished with visual effects. The late Rajat Poddar designed most of the sets, leaving only the backdrop for the climax. The set design, construction, and action are all under investigation by producer Aditya Chopra and Ayan.
For the espionage thriller, the makers enlisted Franz Spilhaus and Steve Brown (2017's Wonder Woman), Miguel Juzgado (2020's Warrior Nun), along with ten other previously announced stunt coordinators. They have settled on three action directors for this set piece.

According to the source, Chopra chose American stunt coordinator Spiro Razatos, who has worked on Venom [2018] and The Fate of the Furious [2017], as well as Se-yeong Oh of Avengers: Age of Ultron [2015] and Snowpiercer [2013] renown. After seeing Sunil Rodrigues' talents in Jawan [2023] and Pathaan [2023], he decided to recruit him from his own turf. The three of them have collaborated on a stylized fight scene that features intense hand-to-hand combat. The final scheduled date for the War 2 speaking parts is the December leg.
When talented dancers like Roshan and Jr. NTR are engaged, there's certain to be more. The producers are planning a dance-off between the two. An insider shared that Chopra and Ayan are working with choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant on a dance-off. The crew also plans to shoot a music video featuring Hrithik and Kiara Advani in January.
