War 2 leaked still: Hrithik Roshan wields the katana in much-hyped entry scene

War 2 is among the most-awaited movies for various reasons. Right from Hrithik Roshan going against Jr. NTR to his chemistry with Game Changer actress Kiara Advani to the action in the movie, there's a lot that fans are looking forward to. However, the most-awaited is Hrithik's entry scene in the Ayan Mukerji directorial. And it happens with a katana. The still is now leaked, leaving fans further excited for what they're about to witness.

War 2 will see Hrithik Roshan's entry into the film with a katana. For the uninitiated, katana is a Japanese sword used by warriors in ancient times. The sword is considered sacred and needless to say, not everybody can master the art to perfection. Hrithik picking up such a skill is sure to leave his fans excited, for the techniques to using katana the right way could make any man look cool. This makes it apt for the concept that War has been. The original film was also high on unique action. Bringing in a katana, if used in the right manner, the movie could level up the action game.

John Wick: Chapter 4 also intertwined Japan-US fighting skills

John Wick: Chapter 4 was among one of the most memorable films in the recent times to successfully merge the world of US and Japan through the use of katana. Yes, John Wick wielded the Japanese sword while fighting the Yakuza sent to kill him. And he smoothly got out of the messy situation and back into his American action – one with the guns.

Japanese monastery reconstructed

A Japanese monastery was reconstructed in YRF Studios for the entry scene. The very leaked still is from the scene which would be a powerful introduction of the villain, played by Jr. NTR.

As for the movie, while most of the shoot is completed, there were a few pending scenes, including a dance number, left to be shot. They were delayed owing to injury on Hrithik's leg.

War 2 is the sequel to the 2019 movie. While the original film was helmed by Siddharth Anand, who later went on to direct Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan, War 2 saw Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji take on the duties. The movie is scheduled for August 14 release in theatres.
