War 2 Telugu box office collection day 3: Jr NTR's film slows down, crosses the Rs 40 crore mark

The collections of Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR’s War 2 are being watched closely, especially in the Telugu states, as distributors have paid close to ₹90 crore for the rights. Since Junior NTR is a huge star, War 2 started with a bang in Telugu, making ₹23 crore net on day one of its release.

Fans of NTR are divided; some have liked his performance, while others are unhappy with the way his character was showcased. A major section of the audience felt that Junior NTR was no match for Hrithik Roshan’s aura and personality in the film.

Released alongside Coolie, the box office clash is intense. In terms of occupancy, Coolie is slightly better, but in collections, War 2 has held steady, thanks to Sunday’s advantage. However, once weekdays begin, the dip is expected to be sharper, as seen in current ticket sales trends.
