Theaters are getting ready to screen one of the most-awaited films of 2025, War 2. Pinkvilla reported that War 2's Hindi version will be released on 5000 screens in India, including the limited release for the Hindi version in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Pondicherry.
“War 2 is the tentpole feature film of Indian Cinema bringing together Hrithik Roshan and NTR for the first time. The makers are all set to bring it on 5000 plus screens in Hindi, including an exclusive release across premium formats in IMAX, 4DX, ICE, and Dolby Cinema, making it one of the widest releases of all time,” revealed the source.
The source further informed that Yash Raj Films has confirmed and locked more than 90 percent of single-screen screenings across the country. Meanwhile, War 2 will dominate the North Indian market in terms of exhibition schedule, and exhibitors are also willingly favoring the Ayan Mukerji-directed film.
"It’s a star-heavy action extravaganza, and is expected to attract strong footfalls over the four-day opening weekend. The showcasing and screen count has been designed to match onto the demand for the film in the cine-goers,” the source further added.

The advance booking for War 2 will begin in India from August 10. Meanwhile, Bollywood Hungama reported that the film falls under the mega blockbuster category; hence, the ticket rates are expected to be in the same range as Pushpa 2 – The Rule.
