Was Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives season 2 scripted? Neelam Kothari answers

The second season of the reality series Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives debuted on September 2 and since then, it has swiftly risen to the top of the list of popular programmes on the internet (apart from Netflix, where the show was released). Despite Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives season 2 being very popular and booming throughout the nation, some Twitter users have criticised it for being scripted. Actor Neelam Kothari has answered the accusation.

She explained why the show cannot be scripted in an interview with Pinkvilla. Neelam said, “What comes out of the four of us cannot be staged or fabricated. If that were the case, then all four of us would need an Oscar. It cannot be staged or scripted.”

She continued, “Some situations are probably planned that ‘ok, you're going here for lunch.’ But what’s gonna be the discussion, how it’s going to pan out, that is in no one's hand. So no, the show isn’t scripted at all.”

The actress responded to people who were criticizing the program and praised her team for putting themselves out there. She added, “All I can say is that we have attempted something and it has been successful. We put ourselves out there and kudos to us. Also, if you make a movie or a serial, you will have lovers and you will have haters. The same concept applies to this show as well. Some will love it, some will hate it.”

In 2020, the Netflix series Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives made its premiere on the platform. Maheep Kapoor, Neelam, Bhavana Pandey and Seema Sajdeh are the stars of the show which chronicles their luxurious lifestyles as four best friends juggling friendship, family and careers. The second season of the series is currently streaming on Netflix.
