Looks like criticisms against the Hollywood movie, Barbie, are raining like cats and dogs! Days after television star Juhi Parmar felt shocked by the film’s ‘inappropriate language and sexual connotations’, actor Jay Bhanushali has shown red flag towards the movie.

In an Instagram Story today, Kasautii Zindagii Kay actor Jay Bhanushali said that this movie is super bad. He expressed, “Jan hit main jaari ek soochna dena chahata hoon. Abhi tak aapne internet pe kuch videos dekh hee liye honge jisme log theatre main pink pehenke jaa rahe hai. Un logon main main bhi ek tha. Main bhi apni beti ko lekar Barbie film dekhne gaya tha. Trust me guys, yeh film bawaseer hai. Bacha raha hoon aapko.”

(Translated as: “In public interest, I want to spread information. Till now you must have seen some videos on the internet wherein people are going to watch a movie in theatres dolled up in pink outfits. I was also one of those people. I also went to watch Barbie movie with my daughter. Believe me guys, this movie is rubbish. I am saving you.)

“It is a super super super bad film. Trust me guys. This film is neither for kids nor for adults,” said Jay in the video.

This development comes just days after actor Juhi Parmar was left outraged when she stepped into a cinema hall with her 10-year-old daughter to watch Barbie. Penning a long post, Juhi Parmar said, “Why make Barbie inappropriate for kids and a Pg-13 movie rather than one which everyone could enjoy with family. I wish I could erase the memory of this film and continue believing in a picture perfect Barbie for my child who has a collection of yours and loves you so much… I so wish!”

Not only this, but popular social media influencer Mira Rajput Kapoor – the wife of popular actor Shahid Kapoor – also expressed her disinterest towards the movie, Barbie. She cutely mentioned that “Hollywood can’t sing and dance like Bollywood”.
