Watch: Alia Bhatt and Rashmika Mandanna set the stage on fire with Naacho Naacho at the NMACC launch

The Oscar-winning song Nacho Nacho (the Hindi version of Naatu Naatu) was performed in an electric performance by Alia Bhatt and Rashmika Mandanna on the second day of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre's (NMACC) inauguration spectacular in Mumbai.

Paparazzi and the actor's fan pages have both posted the video online. In the video, Rashmika can be seen moving her saree-clad legs while Alia is wearing a short dress.

Fans praised the video. One wrote, "Huge slay."

From the beginning of the year, Naatu Naatu fever has been in full force since the song gained international recognition even before it won the Oscar.

At the Indian Premier League 2023 opening ceremony on Friday in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Rashmika Mandanna performed Naatu Naatu.

Alia has already performed the song at an event. At an awards ceremony a few months ago, the actor performed the hook steps to Naatu Naatu while wearing a white saree. She performed the Naatu Naatu dance that was taped for Jr. NTR and Ram Charan on stage with the brothers and co-hosts Ayushman Khurana and Aparshakti Khurana.

The global smash Naatu Naatu triumphed against This Is A Life from Everything Everywhere All at Once, Applause from Tell It Like a Woman, and Lift Me Up from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever to win the coveted Oscar for India.

In addition to Hindi, the song was also released in several other languages under the names Naacho Naacho, Naattu Koothu, Halli Naatu, and Karinthol. Rahul Sipligunj and Vishal Mishra sang the Hindi version of the song.

Other performers at the event include Shah Rukh Khan, who danced on Jhoome Jo Pathaan with Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan. While Singh sang Apna Time Aayega and Varun performed Apna Bana Le, Priyanka Chopra Jonas also danced with Ranveer on the Gallan Goodiyan song.
