Anil Kapoor, who will be seen in the finale episode of The Kapil Sharma Show (TKSS) took a hilarious dig at Akshay Kumar on the show. The veteran actor, who is known for his wit and humour, left host Kapil Sharma speechless with his remark.

In a promo shared by Sony Entertainment Television on social media, Kapil Sharma teased Anil Kapoor for appearing on the show only during the finale episodes (The actor will be appearing on the show along with his co-stars from The Night Manager). He asked him if he likes to attend finales or if he enjoys ending other people's work. He said, “Aap finale ke shaukeen hain ya aapko dusron ka kaam bandh karane maza aata hai?” Anil Kapoor then replied, "Akshay saab toh shuru karwate hain right? Woh paise lete hain, main free karta hoon (Akshay Kumar comes at the start of the season right? He takes money whereas I do it for free)".

Anil Kapoor's witty comeback left Kapil Sharma speechless and the audience in splits. Anil Kapoor and Akshay Kumar have worked together in films such as Welcome, Welcome Back and Bewafaa. They share a good rapport and often indulge in friendly banter.

The finale episode of TKSS will also feature Aditya Roy Kapur, Sobhita Dhulipala and Tillotama Shome, who are part of The Night Manager series. The show is an adaptation of John le Carré's novel of the same name and revolves around a hotel manager who gets involved in a spy game with an arms dealer. The second and final part of the series was released on Disney+ Hotstar on June 30.

The Kapil Sharma Show will go off air after the finale episode, which will air next weekend. The show will be replaced by the new season of India's Got Talent, which will have Shilpa Shetty, Kirron Kher and Badshah as judges.
