Watch: 'Awestruck' Varun Dhawan hits the dance floor with Madhuri Dixit for The Fame Game challenge

A few days back, Varun Dhawan took to his social media pages and shared a few BTS photos posing with Madhuri Dixit-Nene. Since then, fans have been impatient to learn about this amazing collaboration. On Tuesday, Dhawan finally shared a video in which he is seen shaking the leg with Dhak Dhak Girl in her The Fame Game song Dupatta Mera. 

The Badlapur actor is left awestruck while dancing with Madhuri, and they both ace the hook steps of the song. While sharing the video, Dhawan captioned it as "When the queen hits the dance floor, all you can do is be awestruck. The Fame Game series is now streaming on Netflix. #TheFameGame #TheFameGameOnNetflix #TheFameGameChallenge @netflix_in @madhuridixitnene @dharmaticent."

In a statement, Dhawan revealed his thoughts and experiences of working with Madhuri. He said that to him, Madhuri Dixit is the Dhak Dhak girl. She is the queen of hearts, and it was an honour to work with her. Having Ganesh Sir choreograph the performance added to the overall experience.

When asked about how he deals with fame, the October actor said that it's a two-edged sword with both benefits and drawbacks; one just has to learn to live with it.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Madhuri and Varun shared screen space in Abhishek Verman's Kalank, which was released in 2019. In the film, they played onscreen mother and son, while Sanjay Dutt played his illegitimate onscreen father. 

Varun will next be seen in Jug Jugg Jeeyo alongside Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Kiara Advani, and Prajakta Koli. The actor also has Bhediya with Kriti Sanon and Abhishek Banerjee. 

Whereas Madhuri is currently basking in the success of The Fame Game, which is currently streaming on Netflix. The actor plays a Bollywood superstar in her OTT debut as well as her Netflix debut.
