The silver screen has witnessed some unrecognisable physical transformations by stars so that they can do justice to their characters the best way possible. While some choose to take the help of makeup or VFX to do so, others decide to put themselves and their bodies through the wringer to get the desired effect. And it seems that Gehraiyaan star Siddhant Chaturvedi too falls in the latter category of stars, who take on the responsibility of undergoing physical transformations the good old fashion way.

The star recently took to his official Instagram handle to show viewers just how much he had changed to fit into his character in Gehraiyaan. The post featured two photographs of him, both of which see him in front of a mirror. Whereas in the first one he is shown sporting his abs, in the other, he is seen after he put on some weight. The actor also added a clever caption to the post as well.

Check out the post below:

Chaturvedi essayed the role of Zain in the Shakun Batra directorial, which was produced by Dharma Productions, Viacom18 Studios and Jouska Films.

In addition to Chaturvedi, the film also features Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, Dhairya Karwa, Naseeruddin Shah and Rajat Kapoor. The film is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.

The actor, who made his debut in Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt’s 2019 film Gully Boy, is currently keeping busy with a host of projects. His upcoming releases include Yudhra, Phone Bhoot and Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan. In the latter he will once again share the screen with his Gehraiyaan co-star, Panday.
