WATCH The Archies celeb review – Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Aishwarya Rai-Abhishek Bachchan, Janhvi Kapoor laud Zoya Akhtar’s nostalgia trip!

The Archies has finally rolled out its Riverdale story on the streaming giant Netflix and although it’s just a day since the release, it has managed to pass the vibe check. The film, which stars the promising debut of seven kids and is directed by the versatile Zoya Akhtar is getting lauded not just in India but also by several foreign critics. Today, Netflix has shared a video clip containing the unapologetic first-hand reviews from some of the biggest stars of Bollywood from the premiere night.  

Bollywood celebrities are all hearts for Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies

The star-studded premiere night of one of the most awaited films of the year 2023 – The Archies, was celebrated on 5 December. Starring Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda, Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Dot, and Yuvraj Menda, The Archies was released on 7 December on Netflix.  

Today, Netflix shared their a clip on social media to give us a glimpse of their reactions to the performances, screenplay, storyline, and other thoughts.   

Taking to the official handle of Netflix, the team posted a video clip in which several stars like Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, and Bhumi Pednekar talked about what they liked and how they felt after watching the movie. Actor Hrithik Roshan was literally dancing after watching the film. He reacted enthusiastically and said, “So good, yeah. Such sweetness and the vulnerability and the honesty and the music, dance. I loved it!”  

While the Bachchans, Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek, whose nephew Agastya Nanda made his debut with the film were also hearts for the entire cinematic experience. Abhishek Bachan became nostalgic and said, “It took us back in time, You know. We all grew up reading Archies and it was just we were transported back to our youth. While Aishwarya Rai Bachchan congratulated the entire team and sent her best wishes.”

Actresses Katrina Kaif and Bhumi Pednekar admired Zoya Akhtar’s intricate work.  

The Thankyou for Coming actress said, “Va Va Voom! It was such fun. It’s such a beautiful world. Only Zoya could do it.” While Katrina Kaif said, “I think we are all the biggest Zoya Akhtar fans. What a versatile director. Everything she just touches is gold.”  

Filmmaker and KWK host, Karan Johar also attended the event and praised Zoya Akhtar and the budding actors. He said, “And the seven kids are fantastic. Every one of them has given a brilliant performance.”  

Janhvi Kapoor is a proud sister and had a fun nostalgic trip while watching the film. She also urged everyone to watch the film.
