Whether you love or hate K-pop, it is undeniable that there has been an explosive surge in fan following for this music genre. While BTS served as a gateway for many fans into the K-pop world, there are now enthusiasts of numerous other groups, with one standout from the 4th generation being 'Tomorrow X Together' or 'TXT.'

One member who has captivated everyone's attention is the handsome and talented Choi Yeon Jun, affectionately known as Yeonjun. As the rapper, dancer, and vocalist of the group, he stands out as one of the premier dancers among fourth-generation K-Pop groups.

He gained widespread recognition when his group covered SHINee's song 'Sherlock' during the 2020 SBS Gayo Daejeon, sparking significant buzz. Let's take a closer look at Yeonjun's standout dance and song covers that have only deepened fans' admiration for him.

'Watermelon Sugar' and 'Blow' (Originally by Harry Styles and Ed Sheeran)

Yeonjun has displayed a diverse range of vocal abilities across TXT's discography and his projects. However, he has also shown his talent when it comes to dance covers that truly established him as the 'IT' boy of his generation.

He was selected for 'Studio Choom's' Artist of the Month and showcased his talents with mesmerizing dance covers to Harry Styles's 'Watermelon Sugar' and Ed Sheeran's 'Blow', featuring Chris Stapleton & Bruno Mars.

'Zoom', 'Shut Down' and 'Run BTS' (Originally by Jessi, Blackpink and BTS)

During the SBS Gayo Daejeon, Yeonjun delivered captivating performances of some of the year's hottest songs, namely Jessi's 'Zoom', BLACKPINK's 'Shut Down', and his labelmate BTS' track, 'Run BTS'. What's also interesting is that while many male K-pop idols opt for songs from other boy bands, Yeonjun chose to cover tracks by female artists as well.

'Cry' (Originally by August Alsina)

Released in 2020, this song cover came as a surprise for fans, as it offered a deeper glimpse into Yeonjun's vocal abilities. This cover showed all the breadth of his vocal talents and even sparked hope of a collaboration with the original singer August Alsina, which fans believe would undoubtedly sound heavenly.

'Stay' with Taehyun (Originally by Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber)

Joined by his bandmate Taehyun, Yeonjun, the eldest member of the group, delivered a stunning rendition of Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber's hit song 'Stay'. Showcasing his vocal prowess, this cover exemplified his ability to transition from rapping to singing and also hitting high notes.

'3D' (Originally By Jungkook)

In addition to co-hosting SBS' Gayo Daejeon on Christmas Day 2023, Yeonjun was also busy with other activities like performing with his group. However, it was his special collaboration with ITZY's Yuna for a unique stage which got everyone screaming. Yeonjun went on to completely nail the cover of BTS' Jeon Jungkook's chart-topping song '3D' which showcased a cool and suave side of him.

'Guilty' (Originally By Taemin)

Yeonjun's rendition of SHINee's Taemin's single 'Guilty' was a stark contrast to his cover of '3D,' and it was incredibly enjoyable to witness these performances within just two weeks of each other. This cover without a doubt quickly went viral across social media with fans praising him for his sexual aura on stage.
