There must be hardly anyone who does not enjoy attending a music concert. Seeing your favourite artist in person is definitely a different high and also a dream come true for many. These days, there have been incidents in India which have been reported about the audiences teasing the artists while they are performing up on stage.

This time round, a similar incident happened when the international artist Cardi B was performing at Drai's Beach Club in Las Vegas. The ‘Bronx Season’ singer was up on stage performing when an audience member splashed water on the singer. As in immediate reaction, cardi B threw the microphone from her hand to the audience member who had splashed water on her. The singer did not let the unexpected incident affect her or come in the way of her performance. Despite the interruption, Cardi B carried on with her performance, which was immensely liked by the audience present there.

For the uninitiated, this is not the first time such an incident has taken place during a music concert. As per a report in The Hollywood Reporter, artists including Bebe Rexha and country singer Kelsea Ballerini’s performances too were interrupted. While Bebe Rexha got hurt after a cell phone was thrown at her mid-concert, the country singer Kelsea Ballerini got hit in her eye by a bracelet thrown at the singer by an audience member. Only recently, the well-known singer and songwriter Harry Styles was hit badly on his eye by a flying object during a concert in Vienna.

Back home, a few months ago, singer Arijit Singh was performing during a live concert in Aurangabad, when a fan pulled his hand, which led to an injury. Arijit Singh had to then stop the concert midway. The singer was seen telling the audience, “My hand is shaking right now. I can’t move my hand. If I can’t perform, you won’t be able to have fun. It’s as simple. You pulled me like that and my hand is still shaking. Should I leave?”

Even singer Sonu Nigam had also became a victim to such incident few months ago. He was subjected to physical assault by a man after his performance at a music festival in Mumbai. Then, there was singer Kailash Kher, who was attacked by an audience member by throwing a bottle at him when he was performing at a concert in Karnataka.

Addressing this issue, the international artist Charlie Puth had taken to social media and made an appeal to everyone by stating, “This trend of throwing things at performers while they are on stage must come to an end. (Bebe, Ava, AND NOW Kelsea Ballerini…) It’s so disrespectful and very dangerous. Please just enjoy the music I beg of you…”.
