Jenna Ortega is back, and even before we get a taste of Wednesday season 2, she has given us a major warning about Wednesday season 3 - that it will begin production and stream soon

Weeks ahead of Jenna Ortega returning as Wednesday for season 2, she comes back with a new announcement. With the help of The Hand, she has announced that the third season of her popular Netflix show is confirmed and will go on floors soon. The same is scheduled to stream some time after season 2 drops on the streaming platform.
Wednesday season 3 is officially confirmed, and is in the works. A poster featuring Jenna Ortega and her classic glare have come back to warn you about the same (because bad things come in threes, if you know what we mean).
"It’s such an alchemy of writing, directing, acting, crew, streamer, studio, and fans. We remain grateful and excited to continue this journey and tell these stories with all of our partners," showrunner Alfred Gough shared in a media statement while confirming that Wednesday season 3 is indeed in the works after the kind of love the first season received.
Wednesday season 2, like season 1, is expected to be fun. The showrunner, in fact, promises it would be funnier. New members would be added to the Addams Family (and we can already hear Wednesday sighing and cringing internally). Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones), Gomez (Luis Guzmán), and Pugsley (Isaac Ordonez) would return for the season.
During the announcement, Alfred Gough shared that Wednesday season 2 might just touch the tip, and we would unfurl more secrets about Nevermore and The Addams Family in Wednesday season 3.
While the third season is miles away, season 2 will release in two parts. The first would be out on August 6 and the second will release on September 3.
