Akshay Kumar's Welcome To The Jungle made headlines as it was reported that the film is on the back burner owing to the financial crisis. We now have a new update on the movie, and it is related to the Pahalgam attack. Here's everything you need to know...
Welcome To The Jungle is on hold for months. It so happens that 70% of the shoot was completed, and the makers were set to begin their Kashmir schedule. Unfortunately, the Pahalgam attacks happened, and the area was tense. Thus, to ensure the safety of the cast and crew, the makers decided to keep the film on hold. A source confirmed the same and said, "The remaining 30% was to be scheduled in Kashmir, but because of the unfortunate Pahalgam attack, the plan got pushed."
It was believed that Welcome To The Jungle faced financial crisis, owing to which the movie was put on the back burner. The little birdie, connected to the production house, however, speaks of the grand plans with the remaining shoot and shares, "The entire schedule was locked, which included helicopters, over 250 horses with horsemen, and 1200 junior artists. But, everything is on track, all 34 actors are excited and set to commence the last marathon schedule and will begin post-rains in a different location."
Recently, Akshay Kumar had hinted that everything was falling into place with Hera Pheri 3 and Welcome To The Jungle. He said, "All will be well," when asked about his legal battle with Paresh Rawal. Fans have taken this as a hint that the actors might have resolved their issues. They are hopeful to see the iconic duo back on screen.
