A teaser trailer for the popular HBO dystopian sci-fi series Westworld Season 4 has finally out and it teases another chapter of creepiness and dystopia.

Set to Lou Reed's 'Perfect Day', the teaser shows how big this season is going to be after the third season wrapped in May 2020. Thandiwe Newton’s Maeve, Aaron Paul’s Caleb and Evan Rachel Wood’s Dolores make fleeting appearances in the short clip as does Ed Harris’ Man in Black, who was supposedly killed off by Tessa Thompson's Chalores last time.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, HBO describes the new season of Westworld as "a dark odyssey about the fate of sentient life on earth."

Westworld is created by showrunners Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. HBO had renewed the show for a fourth season in April 2020, with the Programming president Casey Bloys saying "We can’t wait to see where their inspired vision takes us next."

Even after the release of the teaser trailer, we still aren't ready for what Nolan and Joy have in store for fans.

The duo are also executive producers along with Alison Schapker, Denise Thé, JJ Abrams, Athena Wickham, Richard J Lewis, and Ben Stephenson. Warner Bros TV is producing along with Kilter Films and Bad Robot Productions. The concept of the show is based on the 1973 film of the same name written by Michael Crichton

Westworld is set to return to our screens on June 26. In India, all previous seasons of the show can be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar.
